Greenfields is a wheelchair-friendly, single-storey cottage with a ramp at the side of the property to access the garden with its breath taking views. The warm and welcoming accommodation consists of a hallway, kitchen, twin bedroom, double bedroom, wet room and living/dining room with patio doors leading to the enclosed decking area and steps down to the garden.
FAQ's
Yes, our lake is free to use for our guests to sit and enjoy or go fishing. We only allow barbless hooks and require the fish to be returned to the lake.
This cottage is well suited to someone with limited mobility. You can access the gardens from the balcony steps or by the ramp next to the cottage.
Our cottages are dog friendly. You may bring a maximum of 2 dogs.
We do not provide cooked meals. These cottages are self catering units with well equipped kitchens.
REVIEWS
We have just returned from another fabulous holiday at Primrose Farm. The cottage has had a beautiful make-over. It was very clean and tidy. The cottage has everything thing you need for a nice relaxing break/holiday. The farm itself was beautiful and very clean and tidy. Julie even took us around the farm and introduced us to her family (including the dogs, cats and various horses),
The views from the decking area of the cottage are simply breathtaking. We watched ‘birds of prey’ such as Kite’s and owls flying over the valley. It was so very peaceful that we were more than happy spending our days relaxing on the decking area with a drink and a good book…for hours and hours!
My husband is going to try the carp fishing next year as the lake on the farm is ‘well-stocked’ and again very clean.
We would definitely recommend Primrose Farm and we will be returning next year for hopefully another totally ‘chilled out and relaxing holiday’.

Undisturbed Beauty For Miles
Relax on the decking and soak up the glorious Otter Valley. There is a carp lake on-site where guests only are free to fish should they wish to.
The farm also has horses and sheep grazing in the meadows, friendly dogs and cats as well as an abundance of wildlife – watch out for deer and the large variety of birds. Locally, there are numerous scenic footpaths to explore, and in walking distance the nearby villages of Rawridge and Upottery.

House Rules
When bringing your furry friend on holiday with you, please do not leave them in the property alone. Do not allow them on the beds and ensure you clear up after them. There is a £10 surcharge for bringing your dog with you and you may bring a maximum of 2 dogs.
If you wish to go fishing, please use barbless hooks only. No vehicles are to be driven down to the lake.
To check-in, come to the main house where you can collect your keys.
